Centacare Catholic Family Services is a non-profit registered charitable institution, working under the auspices of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Townsville.

Organisers of Operation Christmas Child, a project of giving gifts to
children of impoverished countries.
The gifts consist of six items - something to love, something to play with,
something to write and draw with, something of personal hygiene, something
to eat or chew and something to wear. All items are presented in a shoe box
and will be sent to children in Papua New Guinea, Thailand & the Solomon
Islands for Christmas.
Anyone wishing to be involved with the project should contact Jeanette van

Baptist Church on the corner of Isa and Deighton Streets.
