Friends of the Theatre are a support group of the Theatre. Members receive
discounts on produtions, a bi-annual newsletter and special mail-outs. Friends
have an annual theatre production. Anyone is welcome to perform.

We aim to foster and promote theatrical activities and offer tutoring to children in Mount Isa. We meet on Wednesday afternoons from 4.30pm to 6.30pm and have planned live performances.
Isolated Children's Parents' Association QLD Inc. (ICPA)
ICPA (Aust) is a voluntary national parent body dedicated to ensuring all geographically isolated students have equality with their non-isolated peers, of access to an appropriate education.
Membership includes a cross section of Australia's rural and remote population and includes fishermen, miners, itinerant employees, farmers, pastoralists and small business owners. There are 47 local brances in Queensland. Mount Isa Branch's membership is sourced from families whose children have or are attending Mount Isa School of the Air. Our membership catchment ranges from the Barkly Tablelands region of the Northern Territory, the shires of Diamantina, Boulia, Julia Creek, Carpentaria and Cloncurry as well as families from the Mount Isa District. Affiliated State & Federal membership of the ICPA costs $30.00 per year.
Monthly meetings are held on the Mount Isa School of the Air radio frequencies.

Outback Arts is an independant arts organisation made up of artists, artsworkers, cultural groups and people interested in promoting community development through the arts and cultural activities. Outback Arts provides services inofrmation and networking opportunities to all members of the community.
