BURKE SHIRE

The Burke Shire is famous for its barramundi and Gulf of Carpentaria fishing. Two land based and one island resort cater for all fishing interests. The magnificent Lawn Hill National Park and world-heritaged listed Riversleigh Fossil field are must-see attractions as is the unique "Morning Glory" cloud formation.
